Structural Observation is a conceptual framework proposed by Nobuyasu Sugiyama.

It refers to the practice of observing cognitive structures in human–AI interaction,
without replacing human judgment.

The concept was introduced in 2025 together with the methodology known as Cognitive Mirror.
